Review:
When I heard that Beautiful Creatures (novel), was adapted into a film, I was hesitant to see it because of the fact that the trailers were absolutely awful. Im just glad that the film focuses on much more than the story of supernatural love, because this is just one of the many interesting textures and complex. Despite the fact that the Los Angeles Times and the New York Times gave the film good reviews, a number of lesser-known critics were much stricter about it. After reading some of these reviews, I was shocked by how biased and stupid some comments. It was clear that these were people who walked in the theater to wait in Twilight, and too clumsy teenager hailed as the movie says that it was not. Twilight is all about romance. Beautiful Creatures is a great Romeo and Juliet what is happening, but at the same time, there are mysteries, prophesied, hypocrisy, politics, Southern, Civil War history, religion, death, evil forces, and all sorts of madness, making it quite an interesting story (some very funny and sarcastic dialogue, to put a cherry on top). Other people who have read the book were equally upset because they felt that deviated too much of the source material. The only significant modification was about 3/4 through the film, and the final result was still the same as the book. The reason why this has not been the author of the TEMPO. If he had drunk made this change, the film would take three hours instead of rap themselves well to two.I I thought acting was good, and Alden Ehrenreich and Alice Englert had a nice chemistry Ethan and Lena. Of course, Jeremy Irons, Emma Thompson, and Viola Davis gave great performances, but it is not a surprise. Emmy Rossum as the siren evil, Ridley, it was gorgeous, and the Thomas Mann was hilarious as Link. I particularly liked Thompsons twisted character he played the crazy Republican fundamentalist named Mrs. Lincoln, which may be held by Sara Belle Duchannes, the most powerful Dark Caster alive. As Sara Belle, his performance was definitely a dark bridge is psychotic. Not what I expected, but I liked it. However, I thought that some of the other actors, such as the girls who play with Barbie cheerleaders were terrible. Is there a way to describe people false, and there is a way to pull off satire while maintaining credible. In addition, the plot and the acting, I loved the costumes and sets. They were very well done and really captured the atmosphere breathtaking and yet disturbing story. Moreover, the effects were cool, no death, but achieve their goals. Finally, I thought the soundtrack was awesome and very different. Mix of classical, blues, country, and alternative film.Overall worked well, I think the movie is 8 out of 10 is not surprising, but it is fun, interesting, and something I recommend you see.
