Review:
I saw this film a few days and I really like it. It was exactly what I expected (maybe a little better). If you want to watch movies really well thought out with lots of character development and interesting plot lines, this is not the movie for you. If you want to watch a group of U.S. Marines spacefreaks beat the tar out of the attack, that is the film for you. From when we first met for foreigners somewhere in the middle, the film is non-stop thrill ride. Things explode, foreigners get splattered, people are burned by laser. In case you have not guessed, this film is very hard. Although there is not a lot of blood, of course, there are a lot of deaths. This action was not unexpected and funny. One minute everything will run somewhere between points A and B, the next, they crouched behind a car and a house on fire, as foreigners pour into their ungodly hellfire from above. The special effects are also quite good, with the exception of some bad animation here and there. That being said, the film suffers when it slows down. The dialogue is poorly written, and delivered well, but not very well. Aaron Eckhart, but does a good job as a stone-faced Marine sergeant who kept a cool head when under fire. Most of the storyline is pretty standard war movie / alien invasion stuff. You know, when after a group of people feel hopeless battle, and then the leader gives great motivational speeches and inspirational music plays and everyone felt heroic. So do not expect a masterpiece of modern cinema, foreign and courage awaits a lot of shooting and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
